Day 01 / Arrival Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur, Meet assist at the airport & transfer
to hotel.
Jaipur- the fabled 'pink city' of the desert named after
Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the
only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions
of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors
subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears,
which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendours,
are now living monuments.
Day 02 / Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, visit the majestic Amber
Fort, which cannot be easily described. You ride
up on Elephants to the former capital of the
royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills.
Post lunch tour of the Palace of Winds also known as
Hawa Mahal. This elaborate building, now little
more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens
and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined
to their quarters, could sneakily view the outside world.
Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's observatory,
where time has been accurately measured since the 17th
century. Later also visit Birla Mandir-a unique monument
with exquisite marble carvings. In the evening enjoy
your dinner at Chokhi dani (an ethnic village
resort) where you will have an idea of the Rajasthani
Village life. Also enjoy various traditional Rajasthani
dances, puppet show and various other interesting activities.

Day 03 / Jaipur
After taking breakfast visit the two fortresses Jaigarh
and Nahargarh, both with motor able roads running up
to them, and full of the history of the state's martial
past. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 / Jaipur - Samode - Jaipur
Next day in the morning straight drive to Samode- famous
for the elegant Samode Palace, Nestled picturesquely
amidst rugged hills, Samode Palace with its stately
grandeur and frescoed walls is a pleasant journey into
the glorious past. The Palace is full of architectural
delights-the birds, animals and flowers painted on the
walls of Sultan Mahal, the dining room with stained
glass windows and its collection of old family portraits,
the Durbar Mahal with its painted ceilings and
intricately carved walls and beautiful chandeliers give
this place its old world charm. Explore this sssssssplendid
Palace and later have your lunch at the Palace. Evening
drive back to The Jaipur.
Day 05 / Departure
Transfer to airport for onward journey.
