Day 01 / Arrival Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur, Meet assist at the airport & transfer to
the hotel.
Jaipur- the fabled 'pink city' of the desert named
after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the
only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the
universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing
it. The forts & palaces of the yesteryears, which were
witnesses to the royal processions and splendours, are now
living monuments.
Day 02 / Jaipur
After a gentle breakfast, visit the majestic Amber Fort,
one that cannot be easily explained. You ride up on Elephants
to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop
of the wooded hills. Post lunch tour of the Palace of Winds
also known as Hawa Mahal. This complicated building,
now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens
and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to
their quarters, could sneakily view the outside world. Past,
present and future merge at Jai Singh's observatory, where time
has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Later also
visit Birla Mandir - a unique structure with exquisite
marble carvings. In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi
dani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have
an idea of the village life of Rajasthan. Also enjoy various
traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other
interesting activities. Overnight at hotel. Day 03
/ Jaipur - Bikaner (By Road - 354kms - 08hrs)
In the morning drive to remote city of Bikaner, tucked away
in the desert region of western Rajasthan enroute visiting
Mandawa - the region famous for the high quality frescoes.
Arrive Bikaner and Shift to hotel. Whole night at the Hotel.
Day 04 / Bikaner
In the morning sightseeing tour to Bikaner by visiting the unusual
Junagarh Fort, lavishly designed with its ornately lacquered
walls in red & gold and panels of dazzling coloured glass
inlay set over the coronation throne. Later excursion tour to
Deshnok (Karni Mata ka Mandir)- devoted to an
incarnation of Durga. The holy rats and their life is
reconfirmation of the almighty power of the Goddess. Whole night
at the Hotel. Day 05 / Bikaner - Gajner - Kolayat
- Bikaner
After breakfast tour to Gajner - 35kms from Bikaner, famous
for Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary and the Gajner Palace
converted into Hotel. One can have his lunch here. Later
visit to Kolayat - a beautiful village with Havelis,
15kms. from Gajner. In the evening back to Bikaner. Whole
night at the Hotel.
Day 06 / Bikaner- Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur & transfer to The hotel.
Whole night at the Hotel.
Day 07 / Departure
Transfer to airport for onward trip..
