Dhundhar circuit

The  main city of this circuit is Jaipur. The places to  see are Dausa which is 54 kms east of Jaipur. It is an  ancient  town of archeological interest. An old fort and many havelis can be seen around Dausa.

Abhaneri: It is near Dausa and 90 Kms from  Jaipur.There are two fine monuments  of   architectural   significance. Harshat  Mata Temple and Chard Baori. The temple is of the  8th century, now in rains but the brilliance of Pratigarh. Sculpture can be seen. A huge water tank is a masterpiece of architectural  designs.  The  staircase  of  this  tank   is stunningly  designed  that  a  coin  once  dropped  here  is impossible to retrieve.

Bagru: A suburb of Jaipur. It is situated at 35 Kms  South West of Jaipur on way to Ajmer. It is famous for its textile printing.  The Bagru prints are unique, the printing is  done by hand. Vegetable colours are used in printing. There is  a fort to visit also. 

Ramgarh  Lake:   The man made lake created by  constructing  a high  dam. To store rain water for drinking. This lake  was created  in  the  9th century and was  the  main  source  of  drinking water for Jaipur. Situated 35 kms to the north east  of Jaipur is now a days a beautiful picnic spot.

Sanganer : An internationally known place which is famous for  its handmade paper, hand block textile printing and other  craft. It  is situated towards the south of Jaipur. It is now a  suburb of  Jaipur  and only 16 Kms. away from the pinkcity.  A  rained palace,  broken city walls, triple gateways are some of  the monuments which can be seen
