This beach of Goa is lesser developed than the adjoining Sinquerim and a favorite of the Goa package tour operators. Backed by dunes, this straight and long Goa beach is home to many excellent ‘International’ shacks. Its northern part, near D’Mello’s and Oceanic offers relative solitary, yet closeness to good food and drink.

There are many budget hotels near the beach which offer good value via comfortable rooms, good restaurants, some even with small pools, making for a enjoyable, but cheap Goa holiday experience. Aldeia Santa Rita and Costa Nicola are good value budget Goa hotels.
